CMA receives Creative Victoria Funding!

Creative Victoria

It's with great pride and pleasure that I can announce some very exciting news.

Earlier this year, we were contacted by the City of Port Phillip Council in relation to providing an orchestra for an Australian first: all Australian, live video games, in concert. The project is called UnderSCORE.

As part of our planning for the project, we took it upon ourselves to apply for funding under Creative Victoria's Music Works Quick Response Grant program. This is a part of our commitment to paying fairer wages and creating a more sustainable industry.

Creative Victoria have just announced that Crescendo Music Australia was successful in securing $9,000 from the Music Works program for the delivery of this unique project. We're very excited to partner with the Programming team at the City of Port Phillip Council, and the team at the Otherworld Agency, in what will be an exciting few months to come.

You can see Creative Victoria's announcement of this project, here.

Crescendo Music Australia will be providing the Crescendo™ Orchestra, Musical Direction, Arrangements and Project Management services for this project.

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for us, and I'd like to personally thank our management team for delivering a strong business case to government on a tight timeline.

We're extremely excited to deliver more news on this project as it comes to life over the coming weeks! Stay tuned via our links below.

With Thanks,
Jasen

Website, July and MOOOOORE!

It's not every day that we get to launch a website; if we wanted that sort of satisfaction we probably should have got into website development! We've spent countless weeks and hours working on bringing this website together, one of the most important building blocks as we grow our business into a world-dominating superpower.

We're launching our website to coincide with the beginning of our July Recording Session releases. We recorded 10 songs over 3 long, exhausting days, playing jazz, classical, pop, rock, film scores, and latin. Over the next few months, we'll be releasing a new video every 2 weeks, starting Sunday, August 6. The ability to have worked with so many amazing and talented musicians was an incredible experience for all of us, and we're so thankful to everyone for their time and patience. We've been busy in post-production with audio and video mixing, and everything sounds super amazing. We're super excited to have been able to see this all come together, and hope to show as many people as possible what we managed to achieve in 3 short days (+months of planning).
